Your University Directory ID is used to login to an increasing number of online systems at the University.
Your University Directory ID is used to login to your Mail@umd e-mail account. You can forward mail to any account you
specify. The forwarding information is visible on the ID
Discovery page detailed below.
If you are unsure what your Directory ID is, you can use the ID Discovery tool at http://directory.umd.edu/password?searchbyumid.
The Office of Information Technology (OIT)
Help Desk can assist you if you wish to change your Directory ID. Please contact
the OIT Help Desk for more information. To change the e-mail address
to which your Directory ID forwards, visit www.testudo.umd.edu, if you are a student, or ares.umd.edu,
if you are a university employee. Please note that changes via Testudo will take a minimum of seven days to become effective.
