To obtain a Mail@umd e-mail reflector, go to: https://reflectors.umd.edu/ ,
the Mail@umd Reflector Management web site.
This new reflector system can be used by students, faculty, staff, and
affiliates of the University of Maryland College Park.
The Mail@umd Reflector Management web site can be used to:
- request the creation of new Mail@umd e-mail reflectors
- modify existing Mail@umd e-mail reflectors
- request the migration of existing Deans or Majordomo reflectors
to the Mail@umd e-mail reflector system
To log in to the Mail@umd Reflector Management web site, use your
Directory ID and password. If you do not know your Directory ID
or password, go to http://www.directory.umd.edu
and use your UMID and pin to search for your Directory ID and reset
your password.
Once you have successfully logged in, you will be taken to your
Mail@umd Reflectors page.
To create a new reflector:
- Click the Request a New Reflector button.
- Type your proposed list name in the Requested list name: field.
- Type the purpose of your proposed list in the Intended use of
list: field.
- Select a number from the drop-down list next to Estimated number
of list members:.
- Select whether or not you would like the list to be restricted.
- Select whether or not you would like the list to have multiple
administrators.
- Once you have completed the form, click the Submit List Request
button.
