ARS stands for Academic Resource System. It is one of the
applications that runs on the
MVS (Production CICS) System.
It is used to electronically execute all aspects of the
academic appointment process, produce faculty sections of the
graduate and undergraduate catalogs, process graduate faculty
status and processing visiting scholars visas. This system is
used by business managers, most of whom use it on a regular
basis. It is accessed from the CP-ONE menu on the MVS system.
