Installing and Configuring OpenAFS With Kerberos for Macintosh

Download the latest release of the OpenAFS for MacOS X Leopard here.
For additional info on the Macintosh version of the client visit http://www.openafs.org/macos.html
Proceed with the installation using the default options.

NOTE: It is recommended that the Macintosh computer user account be the same as the Directory ID of the user account that is accessing the AFS space to better help with permissions management.


Using ssh with Kerberos

SSH (from the terminal) is already configured to use Kerberos tickets if they are available. I.e.:
